About Expecting Results

Liz McGill founded Expecting Results in 2008 after the birth of her daughter. She is a qualified fitness instructor who takes a flexible approach to health and fitness. Liz ensures her classes are relevant to the activities clients find themselves doing in day-to-day life, whilst remaining fun, safe and effective.

Liz has always taken her own fitness seriously and has completed several marathons. However she also enjoyed the sociable nature of exercise classes and always appreciated the motivational power of good music! Having always enjoyed class workouts, she decided to train as a fitness instructor in 2006, and quickly specialized in pre and postnatal exercise.

Liz believes that one of her greatest achievements to date is that of motherhood. She worked hard to maintain her own fitness levels whilst pregnant and was surprised at how much energy she had both during the pregnancy and afterwards. She believes that, although finding the motivation to exercise during pregnancy can at times be difficult, the benefits to both mother and baby are plentiful.

As a qualified Pre and Post Natal Exercise Specialist she established Expecting Results in 2008 with the aim of helping women to exercise safely and effectively throughout their pregnancy and recover their confidence, fitness and body shape after the birth. She aims to work with women who want to increase their energy levels and get into shape whilst also meeting other mums in the same position, and having fun with their baby.
